§ 38-32. Abatement of nuisance.

Upon a conviction for creating or maintaining a nuisance as described in this article or upon proof that such nuisance exists and the person responsible therefor is unknown or cannot be located, the city commission shall have the power to order such nuisance abated and removed. Such order shall be executed by the chief of police by removing, suppressing or correcting the nuisance complained of and such order shall be executed in a careful manner so as to cause no unnecessary damage.
